DUNEDIN BOWLING CLUB
The annual general meeting of the Dunedin Bowling Club was held on Wednesday evening, and was presided over.by Mr A. R. Rankin. There was an excellent attendance of members. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted:—President, James A. Veitch; immediate past president, A. R. Rankin; senior vice-president, M. James; junior vice-president, Dr W. J. Porteous; executive—A. L. Bezett, W. H. Naylor, T. McHugh, W. Scobie, E. H. Lawn, A. J. Campbell; green supervisor, W. H. Naylor; club selectors—H. Walker, W. Scobie, and hi. H. Lawn; club captain, John Scott; club selectors (Wednesday competitions)—J. Scott and A King; Ties Committee—J. A. Veitch and T. McHugh; Social Committee—A. It. Rankin, M. James, A. King, K. Morrison, T. McHugh, T. Scales, W. H. Naylor, E. H. Lawn, and J. H._ Youngman ; centre delegates, J. H. Timmings (executive officer), A. Steel, and J. Scott; auditor, Mr G. Davidson. The club’s competitions resulted:— Champion singles, .T. McHugh 1, D. G. Gray 2; champion pairs, D. G. Gray and .lames Marshall 1, J. H. Timmings and A. King 2; handicap singles, A. It. Rankin 1, Reg. Gray 2; club pairs, A. Silver and F. Scales I, W. Scobie and T. Fogg 2; colts, A. J. Campbell 1, T. Fogg 2.
