BURNS CLUB'S MONTHLY CONCERT

What the Mayor, Mr D. C. Cameron, described as one of the most outstanding programmes provided by the Dunedin Burns Club was presented in the Concert Chamber on Wednesday night. T,he entertainment, which was provided by members of the committee, assisted by the Dunedin Highland Pipe Band, took the form of a birthday party for the president, Mr A. ft. Macdonald.

Mr Cameron introduced Mr Charles Henderson, who arrived this week from Edinburgh, and Mr Henderson entertained with three songs. A notable event for lovers of the traditional style in Highland dancing was the presentation of the Highland reel by four members of the pipe band, to the accompaniment of the band.
