SOUTH AFRICAN SOCCER PLAYERS OVERWHELM COMBINED TEAM
(P.A.) HAMILTON, July 16. Leading by six goals to nil at half time, the South African touring Soccer team gave a great exhibition . of. football to defeat the Combined South Auckland-Rotorua-Bay of Plenty team to-day by 10 goals to nil. The visitors gave a great exhibition of ball control and perfect understanding. Clack, Classens, and Smethurst were outstanding in South Africa’s attacking line, and a feature of the visitors' plan was the excellent defensive work of McCreadie,; who played a brilliaiit game. Pretorius and Forbes in the half line fed the forwards and kept the visitors on attack practically all the time. / SECONDARY SCHOOLS. No. 6, at Oval No. 1 (Mr Duncan); Technical No. 3 a bye.
