Seating accommodation at. the party centre on iuonciay mgiit was taxed to accommodate tbe large numbers of senior members who Had been invited to attend the first social function arranged by the recently-formed St. Kilda Electorate Junior Section. The chairman (Mr G. G. Osborn) referred to the great enthusiasm being shown by the juniors in forming sections throughout the various electorates and he felt sure that the success of the St. Kilda section was, assured._ An entertaining programme was given by lan Kerr (pianist), Robert and Colleen Adaire (vocal items and piano duets), Robert Smith (cowboy songs), Marjorie Muuro (character studies), Bobbie Cornish (vocal items), Allan Dodds and Dsidri Glover (bagpipes selections and Highland dances), and Miss Dorothy McCauley, Lindsay, and Barry Hellyer (vocal items) Miss Betty McDonald was the accompanist.
