BOWLING CLUBS’ ANNUAL MEETINGS
KAITUNA. The annual meeting of the Kaituna Bowling Club was held in the club’s pavilion, Mr AV. J. McKenzie presiding. The election of office-bearers resulted: —President, Mr Trevor Gray; vice-president, Mr Ashley Cooper; secretary, Mr AA 7 . J. McKenzie; treasurer, Mr Hugh . McKinlay ;. auditor, Mr AV. A. Mitson; committee—Messrs D. AVliite, Jack Milne, I. Penrose, A. J. Jenkins, AV. Mac Lean, and AV. A. Mitson; delegates to the Dunedin Bowling Centre—Messrs J. J. Davis (executive member), H. S. Reid, and I). AVliite; selector, Air D. A. Swann; club-tie supervisors, Alessrs Jack Alilne and H. S. Reid. * It was resolved to appoint a club coach for the instruction of young bowlers for the ensuing season. The remit dealing with the playing of the Holmes Feathers competition on Saturday morning was accorded unanimous support. CAVERSHAM CLUB. Air F. Sykes presided over the annual meeting of the Caversliam Bowling Club. The following office-bearers were elected -.—Patron, the Alinister of Defence, Mr Jones; president, Afr D. W. Alclntosh; vice-president, *Mr J. AlcAllan; secretary-treasurer, Air C. F. Barham; centre delegates—Alessrs E. Smyth (executive), AV. H. Sanders, and' E. Thorpe; greeen supervisor, Mr G. Will; Ties Committee— Alessrs ,T. Aitken, J. Gilchrist, and G. AVatt; selectors —Alessrs. N. Peacock, AV. H.’ Sanders, and J. Weir; Wednesday selector, Air A. H. Whyte; umpires, Alessrs T. R. Crossan and J. Forsfei;; auditor, Air E. G. James; club coaches —Alessrs A. S. AlcDougall, C. H. Mackay, and G. AVill; committee—Alessrs R. Cusack, AV. Duncan, AV. J. Grant, R. Leyland, and W. H. Sanders. Messrs A. Thomson and F. Wilkinson were elevated to life membership.
