SOUTH AFRICA DEFEATS NORTHUMBERLAND
(Rec. 11 a.m.) LONDON, July 3. South Africa defeated Northumberland by an innings and 32 runs. South Africa*in the first innings scored '347. Northumberland scored 182 in the first innings and 133 in the second. For South Africa Plimsoll took six wickets for 73 runs.
