“JEWISH PARLIAMENT” MEETS.—The Jewish Elected Assembly, the “parliament” of Palestine Jewry, held its fourth session in Palestine recently, when it was addressed by Mrs Golda Meyerson, formerly of the United States, and now head of the Jewish Agency’s Political Department. At the left of the platform is David Ben-Gurion. chairman of the Jewish Agency Executive Committee, who created a profound stir in Zionist ranks by a new partitian proposal. The assembly meets annually.
