PLANE WITH FAT FOR BRITAIN DELAYED IN ARABIA
(Rec. 11.5 a.m.) LONDON, June 2. The aeroplnne “ Port of Sydney,” which is on route to Britain from Sydney with seven tons of dripping, representing a week’s rations for 100,000 Britons, has been delayed in Arabia “ pending King lbn Sand’s pleasure.” A cable to the plane's owners in London, Aero and Motor Services, from the managing director, Dr Graham Hnmby, who is aboard the plane, stated that it landed at Bahrein airfield, Arabia, short of fuel.
