AMERICA AND N.Z. HOLD DISCUSSIONS, ON DOUBLE TAXATION

WASHINGTON, May 14. The State Department announced that technical representatives of the New Zealand Government and United States experts have opened preliminary discussions here for the conclusion of a treaty for the avoidance of double taxation, and for administrative co-opera-tion and prevention oi tax evasion. It is understood that the Minister of Finance. Mr Nash, will complete the discussions .while in Washington en route home after the Geneva Conference.
