DANGEROUS CROSSING.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—l wish to draw attention to a particularly dangerous crossing at the intersection of Oates street and Taieri road. Anyone coming down Oates street has no chance of seeing the down car coming, and it is a marvel that no accident has especially to little' children going to school. There should be a footpath connecting Oates street with Ann street to avoid a dangerous crossing at each 6treet. At ■ present, anyone going to Roslyn from Oates street, has to, cross and l recross, whereas a footpath, would be; safer. Being a, main road, it is busy, and is positively dangerous to cross. Hoping something will be done before it is too late.—l am, etc,, Be in Time. Alay 2.
