Joachim • arranged an exhibition of articles which she had collected on her travels in Palestine, s Egypt, Greece and adjacent, countries. ■ -The; collection was very varied and included wearing apparel and curios, some ot which were made over 2,000 years ago;. On Tuesday: afternoon Miss Joachim gave a ;■ lecture to. club members, and all were ■ much interested - to hear about her travels. The lecture was made even more- interesting by, an explanation of the articles in the exhibition. Miss M. Sawers, chairwoman of the arts 1 and 'crafts circle, presided,, and Miss ’ A. Dlithie moved a vote of thanks to . Miss Joachim. .
