CONSEQUENT to the abolition.. of the National Security Tax of 6d in the £, Income Other than Salary or 'Wages derived during the year' ended March 31, 1947, will be subject to the Social Security Charge only, computed ;at the rate-of One Penny in every Thirteen-and One-third Pence (Is 6d in £1). MAY INSTALMENT. Persons' liable to pay the charge on income other than sqlary.or wages derived during the year ended March 31, -1947, are required to furnish a declaration ; of such income during the month of May. The lirst instalment of the charge thereon i« due on MAY 1, and must be paid -within one month of that date, otherwise the 10 per cent, penalty for late payment, will accrue.
