NATIONAL PARTY

MUSSELBURGH BRANCH The annual meeting of the Musselburgh branch of the St. Kilda electorate was held in the Methodist Sunday School Hall on Monday evening. Mr E. B. Williamson was in the chair, and there was a good attendance of members. 'The chairman, in his annual report, referred to the steady progress made by the branchj and thanked the committee members for their support and co-operation during a very busy year. The official organiser (Mr H. .McLeod), in addressing the meeting, appealed for the continued support ot members, and hoped that the steady progress made since the .formation ol the branch would be maintained. On Mr Williamson intimating that be would not seek re-election. Mr W. H. Perkins was elected chairman for the ensuing term, with Mr G. Armstrong as branch secretary. The retiring committee was re-elected with the addition of several new members, and representatives were appointed to the Electorate Committee. A resolution was passed recording the appreciation of members for the great services rendered to the branch by the vetiring chairman and the branch secretary (Mrs J. McTaggart). The meeting closed after a short address by the demitv chairman of the electorate (Mr W. Jacobsen).
