EXPORT AND IMPORT FIGURES FOR JANUARY LONDON, March 4. United Kingdom trade figures for Jauuary were: Value of exports £91,200,000, imports £121,400,000, reexports £5,100,000 and retained imports' £116,300. The value of exports was £900,000 less than in November, but was greater than in any other month except July, 1946. The volume of exports in January, allowing for the rise in prices, is estimated, provisionally, to be 12 per cent, greater than in 1938, compared with 15 per cent, in November and 20 per cent, in July. •
