BRITAIN'S APPRECIATION (Rec. 10.20 a.m.) LONDON, March 5. Announcing in the House of Commons, amid applause, Australia’s and New Zealand’s money gifts for the reduction of the burden on the people of the United Kingdom, Mr Dalton said they were one more proof that the members of the British Commonwealth were members of one family, not less closely united in peace than in wgr. * Mr Dalton added that he was sending a message of thanks and deep appreciation to both Governments. , New Zealand’s gift is £10,000,000, Australia’s £25,000,000.
