Golden Souvenir,, who is the outright favourite for the Sydney Cup even before the weights appear next Tuesday, is making good progress in his autufnn preparation. At llandwidk to-day he . galloped a sound seven furlongs on a i olding track in 1.33. The flags were 60ft from the rails. GoMen Souvenir was ridden by the lightweight, J. .Dougherty, and had Wirraiie for a galloping partner N They went along at a solid pace to run the first four in 52 and the last three in 41.
