BRIDE IN OLD BRUSSELS LACE
ROSS-BROWN WEDDING A beautiful deep.cream Brussels, lace, dress, in-design featuring frills forming cape sleeves and a basque, over which fell a lace veil,’was the bridal gown of (Rosslyn, daughter of Mr and Mrs (R. Sloan Brown, for her marriage to Gilmour, son of Mr and Mrs A. T. (Ross, at First Church yesterday afternoon. She carried a* Victorian bouquet of cream rosebuds.
Her only bridesmaid was Missßomola Sparrow, in rose pink lace, in style a replica of the bribe’s, worn with a pastel pink ostrich _ feather hair bandeau, and she carried a Victorian posey of pink and cream Ophelia roses. The best man was Mr Alex Boss, of Tuapeka, West, and the officiating clergyman the, (Rev. Allen Stevely. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, “ Kilmarow,” Dunottar. The bride’s travelling ensemble was a dusky pink silk suit, an edge-to-edge brown coat, and an off-the-face stitched velvet' hat
The future home of Mr and Mrs Gilinour Ross will be at Tuapeka West.
