REV. JOHN NIXON

(P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, March 2. The death of the Rev. John Nixon, in his ninety-sixth year, occurred at New Plymouth to-day. Mr Nixon was the sole survivor of the many candidates for the ministry trained by the Rev. Robert Ward, a pioneer missionary of the Primitive Methodist Church in New Zealand, and he held appointments- in- the Methodist < Church in many parts of the-Dominion.
