POLICE COURT

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28. (Before Mr J. D. Willis, S.M.) REMANDED. Walter Edward Restall, an electrician, aged 30, was charged with the theft of a suit of clothes, a shirt, socks, shoes, and an overcoat, valued at about £2O, the property of James Aburn. On the application of the police he was remanded till March 6. MAINTENANCE CASES. George Wilfred Charles Hogg, charged with default of a maintenance order, was ordered to pay the arrears, amounting to £4 7s Od, in default seven days’ imprisonment. On a similar charge Alan Percival Norwood w;as sentenced to one month’s imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended provided he paid current maintenance plus 2s 6d weekly off arrears.
