[A message published yesterday stated : Italy's first post-war political duel is timed for dawn to-morrow, says Reuter’s Rome correspondent. Colonel Randolfo Pacciardi, leader of the Left .Wing Republican "Party, challenged Tulli Benedetti, editor of the Right Wing newspaper, ‘ Giornale Della Se»a,’ over an article criticising one of Colonel Pacciardi’s speeches. Duelling is illegal in Italy, but the police , are barred from Parliament Buildings, and Togliatti, the Communist leader, said the duel might be fought there.
