REOPENING NEXT MONTH (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Feb. 19. After being closed for nearly seven years, the Milford Track is to reopen 'on Saturday, March 1, the Minister of Tourist Resorts, Mr Parry, stated to-

day. - The Minister also referred to the work which is progressing on the Te Anau-Milford highway, which will eventually supply an alternative route to Milford Sound, and said that tranipere who desired to take the alternative route could now pass through the Homer tunnel on foot.
