NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIPS
OTAGO TEAM ANNOUNCED The selectors (Messrs C. W. Clark, W. N. Connell, and D. W. Fincham) have chosen the following team to represent Otago at the New Zealand championship meeting at Auckland on February 28 and March 1: — W. H. Nelson (Civil Service), one mile and three miles. ; J. R. Hyslop (Anglican), one-mile and three-mile walks. I. Gardiner (North Otago), putting the shot and throwing the discus. K. I. Morgan (Anglican), putting the shot and throwing the discus. In addition, the following have been granted permission to compete in New Zealand championships:— S. R. Dawson (Leith), broad jump and 220yds hurdles. E. Cameron (Celtic United), 880yds. L. K. White (Caversham), BSoyds. A. G. Stevens (Hillside), throwing the hammer. D. W. Fincham (Leith), marathon. J. G. Leclde (Invercargill) was not available. Mr Clark will manage the team.
