VESSELS IN ATLANTIC STORM MOUNTAINOUS SEAS DISORGANISE SCHEDULES ' NEW YORK, January 14. Mountainous seas, which have dislocated North Atlantic shipping schedules, grew even worse to-day, and in New ■ Yohk bad weather necessitated the cancellation of 208 flight from the La Guardia airfield. The Canadian freighter, Tecumseh Park, of 7,163 tons, which radioed lata yesterday that she was wallowing in high seas 800 iniles east of Halifax with four upper, deck plates smashed, and her speed reduced to five knots, radioed to-day that she was breaking up., An American army transport -is standing by and a, Coastguard cutter and two tugs are speeding /to the scene.
The tanker Williamsburg, which ran aground off the Delaware coast, was refloated and taken in tow by a tug.
Several passenger vessels reached New York up to five days late. Even the Queen Elizabeth was forced to slow down, and is not expected to dock until Friday, one day later than scheduled. ' ,
The storm, which has been -raging for more than a week, forced the steamer Ganandoc aground off the Newfoundland coast. The Ganandoc radioed that she heeded immediate as-v sistance. ■ An air search is proceeding for a Boston trawler which is four days .overdue, with 17 on board.
