SCREW REMOVED FROM LUNG
SUCCESSFUL OPERATION ON CHRISTCHURCH MY (Rec. 2 p.m.) NEW YOREi, Jan. 4. A-‘surgeon removed with a bronchoscope, a screw about three-quarters of an inch long from the right lung of the four-vear-old Christchurch boy, John Turner, at the Temple University Hospital, -Philadelphia. Turner’s condition is reported to be good. He is expected to be dischai-ged at the week-end. He arrived at Philadelphia by air from New Zaland on January 5. ■■ f '■ ■ ■ V
