30 DIE OF GOLD IN HAMBURG
(Rec. 2.15 p.m.) HAMBURG, Jan. 14. Thirty persons, comprising 18 men and nine women and children, have died of cold in Hamburg. According to medical certificates, most of the adult victims were old, and most of them died in their own homes. More than 100 severely frost-bitten persons are in hospital.
