WORLD'S MOST PRESSING NEED NEW YORK, January 13. Primarily as the result of the war there is now a world shortage of more than, 100,000,000 homes. This is reported by the social division of the United . Nations, which has called .the housing shortage “ the core, ofthe social problem:” It said that'there-is no more urgent problem than providing healthy, comfortable houses' for the homeless.
