TOJO ORDERED EXECUTION
SHOT DOWN U.S. AIRMEN (Rec. 10.50 a.m.) TOKIO, Jan. 8. Japanese documents introduced 1o the War Crimes Tribunal to-day showed that General l’ojo issued the order for the execution of 13 American airmen shot down over Japan. Former Japanese Army Captain Ogiya said the airmen’s sentences were confirmed by the War Ministry. The documents showed that the Americans were executed and their bodies cremated.
