CONTRABAND TOBACCO
MINISTER FOUND NOT GUILTY. SYDNEY, December 5, Thomas Andrew Foley, Minister of Health and Home Affairs, was found not guilty of having in his possession manufactured tobacco on which excise had not been paid. [Customs officials last njnutli found on Mr Foley’s property a large quantity of tobacco on which duty had not been paid. Mr Foley’s brother-in-law and another man were subsequently fined for being in possession of it.]
