NO ENTRY FOR U.S. WARSHIPS
(Rec. noon.) WASHINGTON, November 14. The State Department said that the Albanian Government had refused permission for American’warships to enter Durazzo to evacuate the American mission, therefore two destroyers stood 'three miles off-shore this morning to embark the mission. The State Department added that the warships were used because no merchantmen were available.
