COMPLETION OF DUNEDIN ROLLS

VOTING STRENGTHS OF ELECTORATES All rolls for the four Dunedin electorates have now been completed for the purposes of the 1946 General Elections, which take place on Wednesday, November 27. The full supplementary rolls are expected to arrive from the Government Printer, Wellington, on Monday. _ In the meantime, 200 adr vance copies of the supplementary rolls have been received for ench electorate by the district registrar ! of electors (Mr G. A. Hyslop). These copies are being issued to the political parties. After Monday, copies of the supplementary rolls will be sent to all -iO§t offices within the Dunedin electorate and to all other registrars of electors throughout tho Dominion. The following shows the total voting strengths for the 1946 General' Elections and for those held in 11)43. The comparative figures are not a real guide, _as many portions of the old electorates have been absorbed into the four new electorates. VOTING STRENGTH—I 946 ELECTIONS, Total voting strength': Dunedin North, 14,846; Dunedin Central. 14,179; Mornington, 14,915; St. Kilda, 14,816. VOTING STRENGTH—I 943 ELECTIONS. Dunedin North, 15,691; Dunedin West, 15,317; Dunedin Central, 15,907; Dunedin South 14,861.
