AUSTRALIAN PETROL RATION INCREASED
(Rec. 8 a.m.) CANBERRA, November 12. An increased petrol ration for private motorists, to give about 270 miles running a month against the present 240 miles, was announced to-night by the Minister of Supply, Mr W. P. Ashley. He said the new ration would place the Australian .private motorists on the same basis as those in the* United Kingdom..
