CATLINS TRANSPORT
NO FURTHER SERVICES
(Special.) WELLINGTON* Nov. 5. Improvements in the Catlins district transport by placing a rail car on the line or extending the bus-service were suggested in the House recently by Mr Roy, and the Ministerial reply is now available. Mr Semple expressed 'regret that there was no spare rail car which could be diverted to the Catlins River branch.: He described the bus services on the route, adding that the traffic offering was insufficient to warrant additional services at present.
