HIGH SCHOOL CADETS
INSPECTION BY AREA COMMANDER
An inspection of the Otago Boys’ High School cadet unit was held yesterday afternoon bv the area commander, Area XI. (Lieutenant-colonel S. M. Satterthwaite, N.Z.S.C.). The unit was at its normal training syllabus, different sections carrying out infantry training, 3in mortar, and concealment. Work with portable wireless sets ; lamp and field telephones was earned out by the signal section, while another group was undergoing training by the medium of sound films,' After seeing the various squads at work, Lieutenant-colonel Satterthwaite addressed ‘the officers and n.c.o.s, pointing out their responsibilities towards any training that was performed as the Dominion’s contribution to TJ.N.O.
