The Argentine Government has placed an order with a British shipbuilding company for the construction of three 18,000-ton passenger-cargo ships. The vessels are to be completed by 1948, and their construction • will provide employment for 6,000 men. The order was placed, immediately following the recent Board of Trade mission to the Argentine.
