J. N. LEMON WINS SINGLES KNOCK-OUT
J. N; Lemon, who holed out in one at the sixteenth, won the singles knockout competition for the Haggitt Cup at the Otago Club during the week-end. In the final Lemon (scr) defeated J. W. Mclntosh (3), 1 up. Results of games played in the intermediate and junior championships were as follows • Intermediate.—J. H. Randle beat A. G. Elliott at the twenty-second hole, J. P. Cartwright heat J. H. Fulton I. up, G. B. P. Wilson beat H. W. ITorder 5 and 4, A. J. Aitken beat D. U. Strang 2 and 1, W. G. Aitken beat A. Gill 4 and 2, S. L. Wilson heat W. ,S. Stewart 3 and 2. J. H. Randle beat J. P. Cartwright 3 and 2, G. B, P. Wilson beat A. J. Aitken 2 and 3.

A four-ball best ball match with the Otago Ladies’ Club resulted in a win by the ladies by a good margin.
