BRITAIN CAN MANE IT EXHIBITION PRESENTED WITH NEW RADIO SET (Rec. 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 20. Over 18,000 daily visited the Britain Can Make It Exhibition. The organisers to-day welcomed the five-hundred-thousnndth visitor, who arrived as a member of a nine-deep queue stretching for 600yds. He was a school teacher who wanted to see the exhibition yesterday, but gave up when he saw the queue and returned to-day. Ho was presented with a new radio set in a modern plastic cabinet, one of the many products which Britain can make, but which Britons can’t yet buy.
