LIKELY FOR TESTS

BRADMAN TO CAPTAIN SOUTH AUSTRALIA (Rec. 12.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, Oct. 21. Preparing for his probable return to test cricket, Bradman will captain South Australia against England in the match starting on Friday. If he succeeds in this game it is expected, that he will announce his availability for the tests. Opinion on his Saturday performance in club matches is that he retains much of his old quickness. Hammond will rest from the game against South Australian Country tomorrow, as he is saving himself for the South Australian match.
