GHIANG KAI-SHEK'S PEACE OFFER NANKING, October 18. The Communist Central Executive Committee rejected Marshal Cliiang Kai-shek’s peace offer, says the ‘ New York Times ’ correspondent. The Communists counter - proposed the reestablishment of the military and political status quo of January 10 last. This would mean relinquishment by the Government of various captured territories, including Ivalgan, Chingteh, and North Kiangsu.
