Wainui sailed for Napier .and Gisborne via Oamaru and Timaru yesterday. Waipiata,-after discharging, will load and sail on October 25 for Oamaru and Auckland. Holmdale is due from Wellington about October 25, to load for Wellington and Wanganui via Oamaru., ‘ Samshee, which is bringing cargo from northern ports for the Union Steam Ship Co. Ltd., is to clear Wellington to-mo M-ow for Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due here on October 26. Holmglen is due from Wellington on October 23, to load for New Plymouth via Timaru. -Trans-Tasman.— Salamaua, en route from Melbourne, cleared Wellington on Saturday for Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is expected here on October 23. —Overseas.— ; Essex (New Zealand Shipping Co. Ltd.)from Glasgow, arrived at Port Chalmers on Friday from northern ports. After discharge of geuorai cargo she will load tor the United Kingdom, and will sail via Auckland on October 28. Somerset (New Zealand Shipping Company Ltd.), from Glasgow and Liverpool, is expected at Auckland oil November 3; She will also discharge genera! cargo at' Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. Ribera (H. L. Tapley and Co. Ltd.) will discharge a phosphate cargo from Nauru at Lyttelton. She is expected at Port Chalmers on November 12 to load wool for London.
