ATHLETIC SEASON OPENS
MEETING AT CALEDONIAN SCHOOLBOYS PROMINENT Secondary school events were prominent on the programme at the Caledonian Ground on Saturday afternoon, when the 1946-47 amateur athletic season was commenced. A cold southerly wind assisted the sprinters, hut made conditions unpleasant, for com-, petitors and officials.
