BELLEKNOWES. The stroke handicap conducted on Saturday afternoon by the Belleknowes Golf Club resulted in a tie in the senior division between I. A. Forgie (68—&—
60) and R. F. McClatchy (72—12—60). On the count (jack Forgie was the winner. Other scores were: R. Mclvor 74-13-61, F. Piper 75-14—61; R. A. Penman 70—8—62, D. Mackay 77 -14-63, K. North 72-8-64, W. Woodrow 76—11—65. In the junior division S. G. Kelly, 79—18—61, was the winner, the next best being N. G. Smith 77—15—62, W. E. Currie 78—16—62, L. E. Anderson 86—22—64, 11. E. Elder.B9—32 66, R. The opening rounds of the intermediate and junior, championships and the further games in the single handicap knock-out competition were decided at Balmacewen. In the match played last Tuesday, Mrs Avers was the winner, with a net 73. The following qualified for the championship.—Senior: Mrs Wilkinson, Mrs Tregear, Mrs Ayers, Mrs Herbert..
