LAST PASSING OUT PARADE HELD I - LONDON,,Oct. 17. : Sandhurst’s Royal Military' College, founded in 1799, held its last passing out parade to-day. The collbge is closing down, and its iplace will be taken by the Royal Military Academy of Sandhurst, opening in January, 1947, to combine' the functions of the college and the Woolwich Royal Military Academy, and fulfil Field-Marshal Viscount Montgomery’s new plans for training Army leaders.
