STRENUOUS TOUR
MR NASH'S CAMPAIGN
(Special). WELLINGTON, Oct. 17. A strenuous few weeks lies ahead of the Minister of Finance, the Rt. Hon. W. Nash, whose responsibilities during the election campaign will be'surpassed only by those of the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Eraser.
Mr Nash will be required to divide his time between his constantly busy office at Parliament Buildings, a comprehensive tour of the country, and his own personal campaign in the Hutt electorate. Mr Nash spoke at Nelson last night, and will visit. "Masterton to-morrow and Palmerston North on Monday. On the following .Monday, October '2B, he is to begin a fortnight’s tour of North Island centres, ivorking up through Hawke’s Bay qnd the East Coast to Auckland. He will be at Gisborne on November. 1, Tauranga and Te Puke the next day, and Auckland on November 4. From there he will go to Hamilton on November 5, and Te Kuiti on November 6 before visiting New Plymouth and Stratford. On Monday, November- 11, Mr Nash will be in Invercargill, two days later at Dunedin, and on November 14 at Temuka, and the next day at Christchurch.
