FORMER LIBERAL M.P. (Rec. 10.25 a.m.) • LONDON, Sept. 11. The Liberal, Sir Ernest Simon, announced .that he has joined the Labour Party because he believed the 'twoparty system the best and only way or working British democracy successfully, [Sir Ernest Simon was member for the Withington Division from 1923 to 1924. and from 1929 to 1931. He was Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Health in 1931. He was Lord Mayor of Manchester in 1921, and:» chairman of the Manchester University Council.] - V •
