CRICKET
PORT CHALMERS CLUB The annual meeting of the'Port Chalmers Cricket Club was held in the Council Chambers, and was well attended. The president congratulated the club on its success last year, and also on its sound financial position. The following officers were elected: — Patron, Mr A. Campbell; vice-patrons —Messrs H. Watson, P. Smythe, S. Harding, and P. Smith; president; Mr W. Campbell; vice-presidents—Messrs T, Armstrong, G. Russell, P. Carter, W. Love, and A. L. S. Cassie; secretary and treasurer, Mr A. D. Jenkins; club captain, Mr S. Underwood; deputy captain; Mr E. Underwood; selectors —Messrs C. Campbell, S. Under-' wood, and A. Jenkins; committee— Messrs A. Martin, B. Reeves, R. Hawkins, J. Peck, and W. Mullins; delegate to the Otago Cricket Association, Mr W. Braithwaite; delegates to the Junior Advisory Council, Messrs W. Braithwaite and B. Reeves.
