“I AM HITLER"
GERMAN MENTAL PATIENTS’ FANCIES LONDON, September 11. ' There have been at least six Hitlers and as many Eva Brauns in mental hospitals since the capitulation, says the Associated Press correspondent in Berlin. The latest, Ludwig Paul, who, like Hitler, was a painter, had his liair cut so.that a lock falls over one eye, but he has no moustache. He formed a committee of seven, as Hitler did 25 years ago. He had drawn a flag and made a set of rules ready to start activities when the authorities decided to stop his soap-box speeches. When he was taken to a mental hospital he said he was Hitler, but that did not impress the authorities, and he told another story—he had been appointed to act as leader until Hitler got back from Valhalla.
