PEOPLE TO VOTE
CLOSING HOURS OF NEW SOUTH WALES HOTELS
SYDNEY, Sept. 10. A referendum on hotel closing hours will be held early in February. The. question will be whether hotels will close at 6 p.in., 9 p.m., or 10 p.m. Announcing this, the State Premier. Mr YY r . J. McKell, said the section of the Act which’ permits tile sale of light wines and malt liquors in approved restaurants wl! be proclaimed on, Friday. The section relating to registere_d clubs will be proclaimed in April. 1947.
