UNION BOOK CLUB COMMUNISTS STOP MEETING: LONDON, September 10Communists broke up a meeting in Leeds held by members off the , Union Book Club, lybo support Sir Oswald Mosley’s new publishing company. Mosley was expected to address the meeting. Scuffles ensued between 30 members of the club and 20 Communists, who intruded into an hotel' room where the former were awaiting
Mosley’s arrival. The Communists took possession of the room within two or three minutes. ' Members of the club then went to a private house, where they were told “ their leader ” would see them. Mosley chatted with about a dozen of them for 10 minutes and told them that he aimed to bring out a monthly which he proposed eventually to convert to a weelcly. He said: “Do not worry about the incident. It is only a small thing on our march, which will go forward ”
