ERICK WALL COLLAPSES

; HIGH SCHOOL BOYS MED ■ SYDNEY, August 13. Six Newcastle High School boys were injured, to-day when a brick wall of a grandstand, collapsed on them during a sports meeting as their school mates gave their war cry. Two, who were buried under heavy slabs of hrick, probably owe their lives to the fact that a score of parked bicycles tocik the weight of the falling wall. The injuries, none of which was critical, include a broken leg, concussion, abrasions, and contusions. The other bovs remained calm and were quickly engaged in rescue work.
