HUNT CLUB RUN

THREE GENERATIONS OF NASTIES OUT The weekly run of the Otago Hunt was held on Saturday at Seaview. over the properties of Mrs C. Smaill, Messrs G. Murdoch, R. Pulliam, and T. Green. Although the weather was unpleasant, there was a good turn-out of followers, but there were fewer spectators than usual. A feature of interest was tile fact that' three generations of the Hastie family rode to the meet. At the conclusion of the hunt a jumping competition for novice riders was held over three fences, thg judge being Mi K. Russell. The result was; G. Trainor 1, Miss G. Gorton 2. Miss (M. Hall and D. Hunter (equal) 3. The acting master, Mr K. Russell, thanked the owners of the properties over which the run was held. The last hunt of the season will be held next Saturday at North Taieri over the point-to-point steeplechase course.
